The Haldi ceremony is a joyous pre-wedding tradition in Indian culture where family and friends gather to apply a turmeric paste, known as Holud, to the bride and groom. This paste, often mixed with sandalwood, rosewater, and other natural ingredients, is gently applied to the couple's skin, imparting a radiant glow and symbolizing blessings for a harmonious, happy marriage. Beyond its beauty benefits, Holud carries spiritual significance, as turmeric is believed to ward off evil and bring good fortune. The ceremony is a vibrant, playful event filled with laughter, music, and the close bonds of family and friends, marking an auspicious start to the wedding festivities.

We will be also playing with colours after the ceremony, please bring a change of clothes you can get colours on and will be okay to dispose of! Wear something very comfortable, you will be running around.
